Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas, I hope that you did too.

We arrived late afternoon, just in time for Christmas Eve Mass at 4pm. We left the little boys at home with Grandpa (Bampa) and we found them cuddling and watching TV when we got home.

We had a delicious Italian meal including stuffed shells, meatballs, chicken, broccoli& ziti, Italian sausage and more. Then we let the kids each open up one package which just happened to be Christmas pj's and we got them changed. This year Laura and I had all of the little boys match. The looked adorable.

Then we sang Happy Birthday to Auntie Laura and we had even more to eat.

We actually got all of the kids to sleep fairly easily and morning time was here before we knew it. I can't remember what time it was when all of the kids were awake but it was before 7AM. The rule at my parents house is that no kids are allowed downstairs on Christmas morning until everyone is ready to go down together. One of the reasons for this is that Santa doesn't wrap the gifts that he leaves here. As we waited for Uncle John and Pam to arrive, Gramma ran down to turn on some Christmas music and start the coffee for the adults and then it was time to go.

The kids lined up at the top of the stairs

Lauren got a Ladybug book that she loves

Kathryn got the guitar that she was asking for

Zack didn't know what to think about the singing Red Sox Wally doll.
