Allergies

My poor little guy has seasonal allergies just like his Mommy and this year seems to be especially bad. He woke up the other morning and just wasn't feeling like himself and wanted to just snuggle on the couch all day so that is exactly what we did. I even bent the rules to allow his binky on the couch. He he is cuddling with 'Daddy Zeba' and his Buzz and Woody sleeping bag.

Vacation time

After pretty miserable weather in June and July we were so blessed by amazing weather for our vacation.  We returned to Wellfleet on Cape Cod where I spent all of my summers growing up.  It was so much fun to introduce my kids to the same things that I enjoyed at their age.  We had a wonderful week swimming in the big waves on the ocean side as well as the warm waters of the bay side and in the  many lakes and spending time with the kids cousins as well as my cousins.

Laura, Pam and I did all of the cooking and menu planning for the week.  We had a different theme each night.  The food was fantastic!  I’ll update with the recipes soon.

 

 

History in the making

Since both of the girls just attend school in the morning they were both home in time to watch the inauguration with me. They were very interested for about 30 minutes and I am so glad that I got to share this special moment in history with them,

Snow Day!

Zack played out in the snow today for the first time. He loved it!

Caught Red Handed

Zack was being quiet, too quiet so I knew that I had to investigate. I couldn't believe my eyes and I knew that Rich wouldn't believe me so I grabbed the camera. This is what I saw......

UH OH, BUSTED!

Zack has figured out how to open the dishwasher and pull down the down. From there he climbed up and into it. What you can't see in the pictures is that he was bouncing on it like a trampoline.

Guess what I am headed out to buy today? A lock for the dishwasher and another for the oven. This kid gets into things that never occurred to his sisters.
