Homemade Christmas

I have been saving this post until after Christmas because I didn't want to spoil any surprises.

This was a crafty Christmas at our house as I made many of the gifts that we gave to family and friends. In addition to all of the cookies that we made I made some jewelry, paper trees, perpetual calendars, clipboard/notebook sets for the teachers, recipe books and altered letters.

This is an perpetual birthday calendar that I made for my mother and my sister-in-law. It is made out of cardboard that I covered in paper.

Necklaces for my sister and for my brothers girlfriend.

Altered letters for each of my kids. When I saw the ladybug, butterfly and zebra I knew that I had to do this for them even though Zack already has one.

Paper Trees - I made 2 sets of Paper Trees. I made one set for my mother with blues since she just repainted her living room. I made another set (not pictured) for my sister-in-law using Jewel tones to match her living and dining rooms. They were so much fun to make but boy did it hurt my fingers and take a long time.

I also made 3 altered clipboards, 2 altered composition notebooks, 3 altered datebooks and a altered pen but I forgot to take pictures before I gave them away.

If I can get my act together next year I would love to make some stuff to sell at craft fairs.

Seriously, you are SO crafty. I am jealous! You have to teach me your tricks! Let's get together soon, with or without the kids! Hope all is well. Tell Rich Hi
