Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls in the Breadmaker

All 3 of my kids are fighting colds so I decided to make some comfort food for dinner tonight. We are going to have strawberry pancakes, sliced bananas and homemade cinnamon buns. I have been dying to try this recipe and since I just happened to have all of the ingredients on hand (and I bet that you do too), I pulled the ole' bread maker out of the closet and dusted it off. I make bread fairly often but I haven't used the bread maker in years. I'll be sure to let you all know how these turn out!

** For anyone who does not have a breadmaker - don't worry. Check out this recipe: http://www.recipezaar.com/Cinnabon-Cinnamon-Rolls-76864

Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls for the Breadmaker

Rolls
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup
water
2 1/2 tablespoons
vanilla instant pudding mix (about 1/2 package of pudding)
1 cup
milk
1
egg, beaten
1 tablespoon
sugar
1/2 teaspoon
salt
4 cups
bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Filling
1/2 cup
butter, softened
1 cup
brown sugar
2 teaspoons
cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped
walnuts (optional)
1/4 cup
raisins (optional)

Frosting
4 ounces
cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup
butter, softened
1 1/2 cups
confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons
milk
Remaining vanilla pudding mix

Roll: Place ingredients in the machine following manufacturer's instructions (usually dry ingredients first, followed by wet ingredients) and set for dough cycle. After completion of cycle, remove from machine and roll out to 17x10-inch rectangle.

Filling: Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread softened butter over dough and sprinkle brown sugar/cinnnamon mixture over the top. Roll tightly from long end, pinching edges closed when finished. Slice into sizes of your choice (I usually get 12-15 rolls from this).
Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise until doubled.

Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes, until golden-DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Frosting: Mix together and spread over hot rolls.

Enjoy!
