Catch up

I just have to give a shout out for Windows Live Writer. I first learned about it about a year ago and it makes blogging SO much easier. Due to some sort of glitch it stopped working for me and then once summer came life was too busy to blog anyway. Last month I was able to fix it but my home PC was just so slow. Rich got a new laptop on black Friday so now I am back up and running! Rather than one post at at a time I started writing a few weeks back and then published them all today. Anyway, google windows live writer for a free version. I promise that you will love it!

Now that I am starting to catch up on pictures I'll get you up to date on us. We had a great summer. The girls learned how to swim this summer without flotation devices. We were in the water nearly every day that it wasn't raining. It went by way too fast but the girls were really excited to start school.

It was a really crazy fall here with Rich working his regular job 6 days a week and then working every nigh and weekend for my Dad's Halloween Store. When he wasn't working, I was at the store. I have never been so happy to see November.

I was one of those crazy people outside of Toys R Us at midnight on Thanksgiving night. We spent a few crazy and very interesting hours outside before dashing in to get what we needed. Thankfully, I had great company! After a few hours of sleep I hit the stores again but left when I learned that there was a 90 minute wait to check out at Target. I went back out that evening for 5 more hours of friendship and shopping.

I have been cooking up a storm this fall and I have a ton of new recipes to share. My goal is to once again start blogging weekly.
